(Im a PLplot developer so I have to build Plplot from SVN. I removed the condition to only include aquaterm on darwin. Now, with Aquaterm installed via Macports, I can no longer build PLplot with the Aquaterm option. Notes: I forgot to increase port revision. (The idea is to get the patch upstream eventually, but that might take some extra effort.) I would be grateful for testing.
MACPORTS INSTALL PLPLOT WITH AQUATERM MAC OSX
Homebrew/homebrew-cask (git revision 8d29a last commit )Īny ideas on where to start investigating would be helpful. I'm trying to build Plplot with Fortran on Mac OSX using Macports. Currently one advantage of disabling aquaterm would be making qt the default terminal for example. Homebrew/homebrew-core (git revision 1204 last commit ) I've installed very many things with brew in the past (though ultimately I'm not very sure of the inner workings) $ brew -version Iâ ve set ENABLEwxwidgetsOFF, but it still tries to link wxwidgets. These seem to arise from the wxwidgets linking. i386 incompatibility (see attached cmake.out and make.out files). However, as Marius noted, there are still issues with x8664 vs. I've tried all sorts of updating and upgrading, and nothing under brew doctor seems to be relevant. I installed the x8664 version of AquaTerm and that seems to have fixed the problems with aqt. However, I get all indication from the documentation, and thousands of Andrew Ng's machine learning course students that there are some optional flags I could specify. Need with-cairo to build wxt terminal -with-x11 Build with x11 support -without-gd Build without gd support -without-lua Build without the lua/TikZ terminal -HEAD Install HEAD version > Caveats AquaTerm support will only be built into Gnuplot if the standard AquaTerm package from SourceForge has already been installed onto your system. Required: gd ✔, libcerf ✔, lua ✔, pango ✔, qt ✔, readline ✔ I am having a problem where I can't specify options for installing a formula with brew.īrew install gnuplot -with-qt results in a invalid option: -with-qt and when I look at brew info gnuplot there is no option available: $ brew info gnuplotĬommand-driven, interactive function plotting
